Italian Ryegrass
Italian Ryegrass, also known as Annual Rye, is a light- to medium-green grass with a coarse texture. It grows in bunches and, when properly started and maintained, presents a semi-uniform and maintained appearance. This type of grass is tolerant of full sun during the winter months, making it suitable for soil stabilization over winter months. A temporary planting, it's important to note that Italian Ryegrass is sterile and will not reseed itself. It tends to form clumps and does not spread after reaching maturity. Furthermore, it will die off at the end of each year.
