It thrives during the peak growing season from July to mid-September. This grass is well-suited for NE Oklahoma's varied weather due to its heat-loving nature and tolerance of full sun, making it an excellent option for natural turf. However, its aggressive growing habit can be challenging to manage, and once established, it can be difficult to eliminate. Additionally, common bermudagrass struggles when exposed to less than 6 hours of direct sunlight.
