Turf Type Tall Fescue
Our Turf Type Tall Fescue seed is tested by 3rd party labs to contain less than <1% weed seed, to be >95% live seed, and to contain 3 pure cultivars of tall fescue. The Blue tag certification signifies its high quality and performance. It comprises advanced cultivars that have been specifically developed to thrive in hot and dry conditions. As a general statement, this plant should receive a minimum of 4 hours of dappled light to flourish, while it performs best when limited to a maximum of 2 hours of direct sunlight. Due to these characteristics, this plant is an excellent choice for planting under tree canopies and in areas with northern exposure.
It is important to note that this plant is sterile and does not reproduce on its own. It features a clumping growing habit, meaning it does not spread after reaching maturity.
