The In2Care Mosquito Station is an innovative solution that takes advantage of the behavior of egg-laying Aedes and Culex mosquitoes. These mosquitoes are attracted to the station and visit it to lay eggs in the water within. The station contains a larvicide that targets and kills mosquito larvae inside and in surrounding breeding sites. In addition, the station is equipped with a gauze that contains a biological pest control agent, specifically a fungus. This fungus acts as an adulticide, weakening the mosquitoes and preventing the development of viruses within them. It ultimately kills adult mosquitoes before they have the chance to transmit diseases such as Dengue fever, Chikungunya fever, and West Nile virus. This two-pronged approach makes the In2Care Mosquito Station a practical and comprehensive mosquito control and disease prevention tool.
This service plan includes placing the appropriate number of stations for your site and maintaining them (station check and refill) every four weeks through September. This will provide protection from mosquitoes and related disease transmission throughout their most active season.
