The Limited Synthetics Plan is a modified Core3 Weed Suppression plan. It uses the proven effectiveness of 6-month pre-emergent applications to incorporate only 2 synthetic inputs annually, with the remaining 5 inputs being naturally occurring elements. Fertility inputs consist of OMRI Listed kelp-based fertilizers and humic acids derived from leonardite. Operating under the theory that a dense and robust lawn will suppress weeds, this plan, once fine-tuned, is expected to be a good solution for homeowners who want to limit the chemical inputs applied to their property.

This plan effectively prevents common annual weeds such as henbit, chickweed, bittercress, poa annua, crabgrass, foxtails, speedwell, oxalis, black medic, spurge, etc. It's important to note that tuberous weeds, including nutgrass and other sedge varieties, are resistant to pre-emergent controls and are not controlled in this program. Additionally, perennial weeds such as dallisgrass may pose a challenge to control due to their high propagation rate, varied reproduction methods, and the limited post-emergent herbicide treatment count selected. These weed varieties may persist without additional intervention.

This plan does not qualify for a Weed Free Guarantee. The Weed Free Guarantee ensures free service between regularly scheduled rounds if weeds persist for more than 21 days after treatment.
